Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities
- As a key member of the scrum team, plan and execute web application testing in each sprint, as well as in preparation for external releases
- Capturing testing requirements early in each sprint, updating the testing strategy and testing plan
- Testing individual system components: databases, web services, web applications
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the bug tracking system (Bugzilla)
- Entering and managing high-quality bug reports
Essential Qualifications
- Participated in teams using Agile development processes (Scrum, XP, etc)
- Test automation experience for web applications – using Selenium preferably, (or Silk, QTP, or similar tools)
- Extensive experience with bug tracking systems like Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test strategies, regression tests in accordance with acceptance tests from the product owners
- Willingness to go deep into site testing, uncover unforeseen issues, “break the site”
Desired Qualifications
- Load testing / Stress testing experience
- Experienced with leveraging testing results from automated builds
- Integration testing experience for multiple system components
- Security testing, specifically web application scanning experience desired
