The d.community, powered by HiveLive, is the digital community of the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (the d.school).

The HiveLive Community is HiveLive's own customer, partner, and employee community.

HiveLive allows members to share individual fields in their profile to different audiences. For example, a member might share an email address to everyone but a phone number to only a select few.

HiveLive's custom content types enable a perfect fit. In this example, a custom 'feature request' content type contains data fields appropriate for posting feature requests.

HiveLive empowers members to create and edit their own custom content types via clicking, not coding.

In this example, as a result of their custom content types, 'contact' and 'book' posts each contain the appropriate structure and information.

In this example, the d.school has built a custom 'file' content type for sharing files in a way that works for them.

In HiveLive, members can create their own custom social media applications. In this example, a Hive has been configured to function as a Forum.
