HiveLive Announces "Community Design Challenge"
HiveLive to Award Free Online Community to Demonstrate Power of Customer Conversations
Boulder, Colorado, July 24, 2008 – HiveLive™, Inc., a leading enterprise social software platform provider, today announced a "Community Design Challenge" at the AlwaysOn & STVP Summit at Stanford. HiveLive will award a free customer community that’s custom fit and branded to meet the requirements of the winning company.
"Inviting customers into the center of your enterprise is the best way to drive innovation,” said John Kembel, CEO of HiveLive. “An online community is an ideal way to facilitate quality customer conversations, and the Community Design Challenge will let us demonstrate the ability of our LiveConnect™ Community Platform to quickly and easily support the unique conversations that will move the winner’s business forward."
Companies that are challenged by the limitations of mainstream community platforms are encouraged to submit their ideas for their customer community to HiveLive as part of the Community Design Challenge. Social media applications that don’t fit into a blog, wiki, or forum can be quickly and easily configured with the LiveConnect platform.
The Community Design Challenge will be judged by a panel of well-respected representatives from social networking, design thinking, and business innovation backgrounds. Judges include: Jeremiah Owyang, Senior Analyst, Forrester Research; Diego Rodriguez, Partner, IDEO; and Alex Kazaks, Consultant, McKinsey&Company. HiveLive CEO John Kembel will also be a judge.
Companies interested in submitting an entry for the Design Challenge should visit http://community.hivelive.com/designchallenge. Entrants must complete an online submission by August 15th in order to be considered. HiveLive will provide community design consulting, training, and three months of free community hosting to the winner.
